Job description

Position Overview

Southeastern Site Development, Inc. is seeking experienced Articulated Truck Drivers (Off-Road Dump Truck) for heavy civil and mass grading projects in the Southern Atlanta Metro Region - Griffin. This position is responsible for safely operating articulated dump trucks on large-scale earthwork and site development projects while supporting production goals and maintaining safe job-site operations.


The ideal candidate will have experience working in heavy civil construction environments, operating off-road dump trucks in varying ground conditions, and working closely with grade crews, excavator operators, dozer operators, and site supervisors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate articulated haul trucks on mass grading and earthmoving projects
  • Haul dirt, rock, aggregate, and other materials throughout the jobsite
  • Conduct daily pre/post trip equipment inspection
  • Identify and report mechanical or safety issues to supervisors
  • Work efficiently with excavation and grading crews to maintain production goals
  • Operate equipment in varying weather, terrain, and jobsite conditions
  • Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and site-specific procedures
  • Assist with general labor duties when needed

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating articulated haul trucks or off-road trucks
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Knowledge of basic equipment safety and maintenance procedures
  • Ability to safely operate equipment in varying terrain, weather, and jobsite conditions.
  • Ability to work safely on active construction jobsites
  • Reliable transportation to jobsites
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience on mass grading, roadway, sitework, or heavy civil construction projects
  • Experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment
