Job description

Become part of NVIDIA's world-class team as a Senior Validation Engineer in Hillsboro! For 25 years, our company has changed computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing. What you will be doing:

  • Lead project validation efforts in the lab, ensuring flawless execution and outstanding results.

  • Interact with multidisciplinary teams to monitor validation progress and successfully guide team members.

  • Report progress and determine the best course of action to leadership on validation resourcing and equipment.

  • Set up and manage debug meetings to strictly adhere to project timelines and objectives.

  • Help project team anticipate issues and develop solutions to let the team succeed.

What We Need to See:

  • 10+ years of experience in validation engineering, with a proven track record of success.

  • BSEE or BSCE or equivalent experience

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to guide teams to compete and achieve ambitious goals and help team navigate deep technical issues with a positive attitude.

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively report and collaborate within diverse teams.

  • A determined approach to problem-solving and a dedication to delivering world-class results.

  • A thorough understanding of design of experiements and debug to analytically reduce complex debug tasks in the pursuit of root cause

  • Experience in detailed oscilloscope usage and probing to capture low speed, high speed, and spurious signals

  • Experience in I2C, SPI, I3C, UART, PCIE, USB, Ethernet, and Infiniband signals

  • Understanding of switching power supply testing including load testing and tuning for transient response and stability testing with Bode and Nyquist analysis

  • Experience in detailed EMI and EMC product debug

  • Linux command line experience for administration and system testing and extensive experience in thermal testing which includes thorough debug methodology to solve heat flow problems in complex materials used for dissipation of high wattage ASICs

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 258,750 USD for Level 4, and 200,000 USD - 322,000 USD for Level 5.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
