Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a Non-Technical Supervisorto provideexpertiseand championresults. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels the patient experience is as meaningful as we do. 


You Will: 


Supervise laboratory non-technical personnel and daily operations  


Supervise personnel, processes, service levels, and regulatory compliance. Functional areas of responsibility may include, but are not limited to specimen collection, specimen processing and specimen referral testing. Performs non-technical duties in areas of responsibility as required. 


Be responsible for achieving department goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, personnel management, patient satisfaction, healthy work environment, and integration of intra and inter-departmental activities 


Screens, interviews and selects qualified individuals for open positions within the department 


Reviews and approves payroll time sheets, purchasing requisitions, check requests, and scheduling requests 


Completes and conducts performance evaluations for all staff under direct supervision  


You Should Have: 


H.S. Diploma or GEDrequired; Vocational or Technical education is helpful 


3-5years’ experience in specimen collection or processing 


Clinical laboratory experience preferred
