We are seeking a Nobu Manager to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Five-Star resort.


Role Summary:

The Nobu Manger is responsible for leading and collaborating with food and beverage/culinary management team and hotel staff to ensure the successful operation while maximizing financial performance in all areas of responsibility. The Nobu Manager is an ambassador for Eau Resort and Spa's values and beliefs, ensuring a memorable and high-quality experience for guests and staff alike.

This role is a flexible position, and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and nights.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Minimum 3 years luxury management experience.
  • Food handling certificate.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Ability to provide legible communication.
  • Prior experience in 4/5 diamond, 4/5 stars restaurant
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.

Desirable:

  • Associates degree in hospitality, business or food and beverage
  • Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service.
  • Any previous Culinary training.
  • Ability to communicate in a second language, preferably Spanish.
  • Certification in alcoholic awareness program.
  • Certification in C.P.R.
  • Computer training.

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to understand guests' service needs.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize service requirements at all tables in assigned station.
  • Ability to maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service to guests within any given period of time.
  • Ability to focus attention on details.
  • Ability to suggestively sell restaurant menu items, beverages and wines.
  • Ability to access and input information into P.O.S. system.
  • Ability to direct timing and performance of Servers, Food Runners and Server Attendants in providing quality service to guests within assigned station.
  • Ability to maintain good coordination while serving orders quickly.
  • Ability to exert physical effort in transporting food and beverage guests.
  • Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.
  • Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
  • Basic wine knowledge
