Job SummaryThe Office Assistant (OA) plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations of a University of Kentucky residence hall by providing administrative support, front-line customer service, and risk management assistance. Office Assistants serve as a primary point of contact for residents, guests, and campus partners, helping to ensure smooth facility operations, accurate housing processes, and a welcoming residential environment.

This position is responsible for maintaining housing and payroll records, supporting check-in and check-out processes, managing mail and facility resources, assisting with access control and security procedures, and providing timely support to students and staff. Office Assistants work closely with Residence Life professional staff and campus partners to promote safety, organization, and positive community experiences within the residence hall.

Student Success will, from the time of early college outreach to graduation and beyond, support students in living a life of meaning and purpose. From a student-centered framework, our practice will be grounded in peer-reviewed literature, national best practices, and data-informed decision making. Collaborating with the campus and community, Student Success will work through a holistic lens to support a community of learners in achieving success.
