Program Overview

TheGenie Leadership Development Program (GLDP)is a three-year rotational program designed to accelerate the growth of high-potential recent graduates into future business leaders. Participants will complete three 12-month assignments across core business functions: Manufacturing Operations, Sales, and Product Management. Rotations are located at our headquarters in Bothell, manufacturing sites in Moses Lake and Redmond, and participants are expected to be able to relocate to anywhere in the US.

The cross-functional assignments will provide an opportunity to expand team member's management skills and knowledge of the Genie's business. We expect GLDP participants to advance as leaders at Genie, as the cross-functional exposure creates well-rounded team members who understand how the business works and how each function contributes to our company's success. Successful GLDP participants will be placed in manager level positions throughout the organization after completion of the program in good standing.

The GLDP is open to candidates who have an upcoming graduation in 2027 or have graduated within the last two years. All candidates must be committed to completing all three years of the program and should expect to relocate for each rotation.

Applications for the GLDP are being accepted now, with first rotations starting June 21st, 2027.

What You'll Do

Over the course of three years, you can expect to -

  • Complete three 12-month rotations through the position titles and responsibilities of Production Supervisor, Associate Sales Manager, and Associate Product Manager
  • Develop a robust understanding of how the Genie business is run, including our products, customers, and operating system
  • Enjoy dedicated coaching and mentoring from industry authorities while learning how to be a strategic decision making to prepare you for your own leadership role
  • 3 week onboarding with full LDP cohort in Bothell, WA to start

Rotation Details

  • Production Supervisor: Support and guide a team in a manufacturing assembly environment. Manage daily operations, resolve escalations, and drive continuous improvement across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Morale (SQCDM). Responsible for team performance and operational excellence.
  • Associate Sales Manager: Build and maintain customer relationships to grow Genie's market share. Travel to rental yards and customer sites to support fleet planning, provide quotes, and deliver product insights.
  • Associate Product Manager: Own a product line (e.g., vertical lifts, boom lifts, or North America region) by shaping long-term product and go-to-market strategy, supporting new product development with engineering, problem solving customer issues, and managing the profit and loss (P&L) for your portfolio

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree (any major; preferred fields include Business, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines)
  • Graduation by June 2027 or within the past two years
  • Demonstrated accomplishments in academics, work experience, or extracurricular leadership
  • Commitment to three 12-month assignments and full-time placement after the program
  • Ability to relocate anywhere in the United States. Participants should expect to relocate for each rotation.
  • Production Supervisor rotation will take place in Moses Lake, WA or Redmond, WA
  • Product Manager rotation will take place in Bothell, WA
  • Sales Manager rotation will require relocation to anywhere in the US
  • Ability to start the program in June 2027

Salary Range

The base salary for this position is $81,000 USD. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a 3% performance bonus and salary increases throughout the program.
