Job description

* Drive product development across internal teams and external development/manufacturing partners as the Single Threaded Owner for Operations.
* Very fast-moving product development and engineering change cycles with needs to manage critical issues and allocate time and resources accordingly with limited guidance.
* Develop manufacturing and supply chain strategies to meet product requirements.
* Support product concept development as Operations/Sustaining lead through POC to EOL.
* Drive field performance KPI metrics and EFFA [Early Field Failure Analysis]
* Execute development builds by overseeing technical issue resolution and production schedule.
* Coordinate cross-functional Engineering, Operation, Supply Chain teams and external Contract Manufacturers to drive/manage validation and build plan and ensure that final products supply can meet demand.
* Regular written and verbal communication to Leadership.
* Travel as required to accomplish business needs.

You'll work closely with product, engineering, supply chain, and operations teams as well as partner organizations to deliver and sustain impactful products at scale. The ideal candidate demonstrates a hands-on passion for new product development and sustainment, communicates concepts clearly both verbally and visually, and thrives in a dynamic, highly ambiguous environment.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
- Experience working with large global teams
- PMP certificate, or PMP
- Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 7+ years of progressive technology implementation, or 5+ years of management experience
- Experience coordinating complex products with stringent technical requirements, development cycles and schedules
- Experience understanding product and technical requirements and interfacing with Product/Technology teams
- Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization
- Experience working independently with minimal supervision, or experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
