This role can be located in Vancouver or Bellevue and is hybrid with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.
What You'll Do
  • Support project management for early-stage clinical programs and work with the Project Leader to track tasks while considering timelines and budget.
  • Develop and implement a new matrixed Product Development Team framework with input from cross-functional partners, including Clinical, Preclinical, CMC, and Commercial.
  • Manage the project planning process, track project timelines, and drive execution.
  • In collaboration with the Team Lead, manage Product Development Team meetings across different programs.
  • Work across functional areas to ensure Clinical Development maintains project timelines and budgets, collaborating with preclinical, CMC, finance, and other groups within Zymeworks.
  • Identify issues, analyze risks, and develop contingency plans to support the Clinical Project Leader and Clinical Development team.
  • Partner with the Zymeworks Clinical team to ensure study timelines and budgets are achieved.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Prepare and manage overall clinical and product development plans for each clinical program, including associated timelines and budget information.
  • Liaise with preclinical project teams and Clinical Development teams to identify gaps and accelerate preclinical programs toward Phase I/II clinical trials.
  • Oversee program budgets and maintain forecasts for annual operating expenditures and departmental expenses.

What You'll Bring
  • BSc in a biological science
  • Minimum six (6+) years of project-management experience in the bioscience industry
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • Experience in multiple external partnerships and proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Broad knowledge of early-stage development of new biologics.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, and ability to achieve results through other managers and people.
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.

The base salary range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the location for which the job is posted and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
