No Military Affiliation Necessary! MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN So, what does a typical day look like?

What does it take to succeed? - Screens telephone calls, makes appointments, and provides general information. Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming mail, accounting documents, data processing printouts, etc.

- Performs receptionist duties. Greets, logs, and screens visitors. Provides general organizational information.

Operates a telephone. - Prepares routine reports requiring the gathering and compilation of information data from department operating records, financial records, personnel records, etc. - Performs other related duties as assigned.

The Qualifiers: · One year of progressively responsible clerical or office work of any kind in which the applicant has demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position. · Must pass a employment criminal background check. · One to two years of academic study above the high school level may be substituted for six months up to one year of general experience.

Candidates must be eligible for and obtain a Secret Clearance within six months of appointment.
