This is where YOU fit in: your local Navy Exchange is in need of a personable Sales Associate to answer the call; a team player who is dedicated to supporting our local Naval community, and operational successes on a day to day basis. So, what does a typical day look like? What does it take to succeed?
• Proactively engages, connects and listens to customers by asking questions to determine customers' needs.
• Directing customers to merchandise; informing them about upcoming events, promotions, mobile offers, STAR card promotions all while providing premier customer service.
• Maintains store appearance.
• Using a Point-of-Sales system, processing cash exchanges, discounts, gift cards, credit cards, debit cards (cash handling) including counting money and returning accurate amounts to customer.
As a Navy Exchange Service Command employee, you will have the opportunity to support the communities we serve by becoming an integral part of the Lemoore Housing community and Elementary School.
The Qualifiers:
• Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to perform job duties.
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
• Previous Retail Experience preferred but not required
No experience required. High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
