Project Manager – Federal Construction (USACE/NAVFAC)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in federal construction projects, specifically supporting USACE and NAVFAC contracts. This role is critical to delivering high-quality projects on time, within scope, and in compliance with all federal requirements.

The ideal candidate understands the pace, structure, and compliance demands of federal work and can confidently lead projects from pre-construction through closeout.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage full lifecycle of federal construction projects from award to closeout
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
  • Ensure compliance with USACE and NAVFAC standards, specifications, and safety requirements
  • Coordinate with government stakeholders, contracting officers, and on-site teams
  • Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain project timelines
  • Monitor project performance, costs, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Prepare and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
  • Conduct regular site visits and ensure quality control and safety compliance
  • Provide leadership to project teams, ensuring alignment with project goals

What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (required)
  • Proven experience managing USACE and/or NAVFAC construction projects
  • Strong understanding of federal contracting requirements and compliance
  • Experience with project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
