Job description

We are seeking a skilled individual for a Utilities Laborer position. The ideal candidate should be proficient with hand and power tools, able to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects. Responsibilities include following written instructions, performing preventative maintenance on equipment, and managing maintenance, cleaning, and debris removal. The role requires working in extreme weather conditions, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and handling hazardous materials and industrial waste. Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently or with minimal supervision, and effective collaboration with team members are essential.
This position is under L6070, Crafts & Trades Collective Bargaining Unit and is subject to payment of union dues and agency fees on a biweekly basis.
Minimum Qualifications:
This position is an entry level position no experience is required, labor, construction and industrial experience is highly preferred.
High school diploma/GED preferred. Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures. Valid driver's license and clean driving record in compliance with UA Safe Driving Criteria is required.
Position Details:
This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package . This is a union represented position. Responsible for supporting the successful operations of the general services provided by Facilities Services Department of Maintenance & Operations.
