Behavior Technician (BT) – School-Based Opportunities
Start the 2026-2027 School Year with Amergis!
Location: Mission Viejo, CA
Pay: $23-$27/hr DOE
Schedule: Full-Time, Part-Time, and Substitute opportunities available based on district needs
Position Summary
As a Behavior Technician, you will provide behavioral and educational support to students with special needs, working alongside teachers, BCBAs, and school staff to help students achieve academic, social, and behavioral success.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 or small-group student support
  • Implement behavior intervention plans
  • Track student progress and behavior data
  • Assist with communication, social, and daily living skill development
  • Collaborate with school teams and families

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • School, ABA, or pediatric experience preferred
  • RBT certification a plus
  • Current CPR and required health clearances
  • Must be at least 18 years old
