Position: Roman Catholic Musician
Location: Newport, RI 02841
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clergy to choose suitable music for Masses and events, adhering to Catholic liturgical guidelines.
  • Recruit and coordinate volunteer musicians, including choir members and instrumentalists.
  • Plan and lead rehearsals to prepare for services.
  • Work with pastoral teams to integrate music into worship, creating a harmonious liturgical experience.
  • Lead musical elements during Masses and encourage congregational participation.
  • Promote spiritual and musical growth among musicians.
  • Maintain equipment and music resources.
