Where do musicians work?

Musicians work in a variety of venues and at events. Some musicians work for symphony orchestras, performing arts centers, in professional bands, or in bars. Musicians also may work for movie studios, recording music for films or television. Additionally, musicians may work special events, such as weddings, grand openings, or parties. Musicians can also find work work opportunities on cruise ships, in restaurants, and at sporting events. Many musicians choose to teach music and work in schools. Musicians can be found playing music for patients in hospitals and private practice as well.
