Job Description Job Description Position : Musician – Section Leader Date Revised: January 30, 2026 Reports to : Director of Music Location : St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 2016 Willis Lane Keller, Texas 76248 www.fwdioc.org/employment General Position Summary St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Keller, TX is seeking section leaders (Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass) for the choir to support the volunteer adult choir.

The section leader will sing at rehearsals and Masses as scheduled as well as serve as a Cantor. Will require an audition. Principal Accountabilities: Arrive on time for all rehearsals and services.

Participate fully in warm-ups. Maintain a professional and cooperative attitude. Set a good example for the volunteer singers.

Know the music that is currently in preparation. Occasionally serve as cantor for Mass when the choir sings. Additional singing opportunities for weddings and/or funerals may be offered.

Responsible for all other projects, tasks, etc., as assigned. Qualifications: Strong sight-reading skills. Experience or proficiency in singing music of Roman Catholic patrimony, namely Renaissance polyphony and Gregorian Chant.

Experience working with amateur and professional musicians. Supervision Given and/or Received: This position is under the supervision of the Director of Music. Internal Contacts: Pastor Director of Music Outside Vendors - musicians External Contacts: Parish volunteers Ft.

Worth Diocese staff. Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and sing for extended periods of time. Travel Requirements: Minimal travel is required.
