EMBEDDED ACCOUNT MANAGER - LIVERMORE, CALIFORNIA - ON-SITE
As the Embedded Account Manager, you are responsible for full ownership of a strategic enterprise client partnership. In this role, you will lead day-to-day operational execution, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage structured account initiatives from kickoff through completion, and drive strategic revenue growth within the account. You will serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor to client stakeholders while ensuring flawless service delivery and long-term account expansion. This position does require experience in managed print services or broader print industry, or experience in a closely related field such as traditional infrastructure IT, MSP, production print, or other. Progressive experience from sales, operations, or technician into account management is welcomed. This is a blended role mixing operational project management, relationship management, and sales growth within an established enterprise account.

Responsibilities
  • Own and lead all client account initiatives from kickoff through completion
  • Establish clear project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Define task ownership across teams and ensure follow-through
  • Balance client requirements, internal capacity, and vendor timelines to ensure on-time delivery
  • Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and resource constraints and drive resolution
  • Serve as the internal escalation point for operational challenges
  • Lead internal and client-facing kickoff meetings, operational reviews, and quarterly business reviews
  • Conduct post-initiative retrospectives to improve processes and execution
  • Oversee vendor and OEM coordination to ensure quality and deadline standards are met
  • Maintain structured documentation, reporting, and communication across stakeholders
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and first escalation point for client stakeholders
  • Own the day-to-day oversight of the Managed Print Services program
  • Build and deepen trusted relationships with technical teams, program managers, procurement, and leadership
  • Ensure delivery aligns with contractual commitments and client expectations
  • Integrate into the client's operating culture, decision-making processes, and security environment
  • Host regular operational and strategic account meetings
  • Deliver an extraordinary customer experience as the face of imageOne onsite
  • Identify, research, and qualify new business opportunities within the client organization
  • Monitor programs, funding trends, and client initiatives to shape solution strategies
  • Develop and execute account growth plans including cross-sell and upsell initiatives
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline tracking, and forecasting
  • Drive revenue and gross profit growth aligned with annual targets
  • Leverage operational excellence and client trust to expand wallet share
Requirements
  • This position does require experience in managed print services or broader print industry, or experience in a closely related field such as traditional infrastructure IT, MSP, production print, or other
  • Progressive experience from sales, operations, or technician into account management is welcomed
  • Minimum 3 years of B2B account management or strategic account leadership experience
  • Minimum 3 years of project management or cross-functional coordination experience
  • Proven ability to lead structured initiatives with defined timelines and measurable outcomes
  • Experience coordinating multiple internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Strong operational discipline and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage escalations and complex environments with composure
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft O365 suite, particularly Excel
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to attain government security clearance (Top Secret) including being a US Citizen
  • Knowledge of Canon, Xerox production print technologies and related software solutions is a bonus
