We are a purpose-driven professional services firm dedicated to providing support for a range of diverse federal program missions. Our focus extends across the intersections of national security, public health and safety, and financial services programs. Join our team to support the Littoral Combat Ship Squadron TWO (LCSRON TWO) mission at Naval Station Mayport, FL. as a contractor Metrics Business Analyst delivering interpretive analytics that drive squadron logistics, training, and maintenance decisions. In this high-visibility role, you will translate complex data into decision-ready dashboards, reports, and executive-level briefings that directly influence material readiness and operational availability for the LCS fleet.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver interpretive metrics that maximize data collection and analysis across all business lines while minimizing redundant efforts of ship crews and Division/Squadron staff.
  • Manage, analyze, track, validate, report, and publish Active Cannibalizations (ACANNs) across the LCSRON TWO enterprise.
  • Maintain ACANN visibility by monitoring active cannibalization actions, aging, turnaround times, recurring system impacts, material readiness effects, maintenance execution impacts, and operational availability concerns.
  • Develop and maintain metrics, dashboards, reports, and analytical products that support ACANN accountability, trend identification, leadership visibility, and process improvement recommendations for LCSRON TWO Department Heads.
  • Apply industry best practices, business intelligence methodologies, and data analytics techniques to improve data integrity, deliver actionable insights, and support organizational decision-making.
  • Leverage Microsoft (Access, SharePoint, SQL, Office) tools.
  • Collaborate with the Junior Database Developer and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop, update, and maintain databases used to track and report data metrics.
  • Provide interpretive analysis from existing and newly developed databases supporting maintenance, sustainment, readiness, operational performance, PMAV, Operational Availability (Ao), Material Availability (Am), Train to Qualify (T2Q) Replacement Sailors, ACANN tracking, and other established business processes.
  • Produce complex data analysis products using easy-to-understand visualizations, including dashboards, graphs, charts, scorecards, tables, and executive-level presentations.
  • Provide command-level analytical support to LCSRON TWO Department Heads through data-driven assessments, trend analysis, performance measurement, predictive analysis, process evaluations, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Enable informed decision-making by identifying operational efficiencies, emerging issues, performance gaps, ACANN trends, readiness impacts, and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Support the LCSRON TWO Chief of Staff and Department Heads on a day-to-day basis in identifying, formulating, developing, and preparing immediate and long-term process improvement recommendations.
  • Deliver qualitative and quantitative reports, dashboards, graphs, and charts that measure the effectiveness of data collection efforts, organizational objectives, performance trends, cycle times, and ACANN metrics for decision-making, operational assessments, and leadership briefs.
  • Provide expert guidance and recommendations in the design, development, and implementation of analytical tools, business processes, metrics, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
  • Convey complex analysis in easy-to-understand methods such as graphs, charts, and tables.
  • Manage databases to eliminate redundant data entries and prevent administrative rework.
  • Develop reports to track cannibalizations of serviceable material or components, ensuring complete traceability and visibility of all material transfers of parts movements.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited United States college, university and/or equivalent military or commercial experience in business and analysis related fields.
  • Demonstrate three (3) years of specialized experience in business management and systems analysis through proficient application of SQL, MS Access, SharePoint, MS Office Suite (including Word and Outlook) to optimize organizational workflows.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in preparing and presenting high-level briefings to senior leadership through the use of MS PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrate the capability of positive interpersonal relationships and possessing a team player's approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent communications skills and fluent in both oral and written English.
  • U.S. citizenship and a SECRET security clearance is required for facility access; personnel shall possess SECRET clearance on the start day of work.

Work Location / Employment Type

  • Work Location: Littoral Combat Ship Squadron TWO, LCS Mission Module Readiness Center, Jacksonville, Florida 32228, located at Naval Station Mayport, Florida — on-site with Government personnel.
  • Employment Type: Contractor full-time position
  • Hours of Operation: Eight (8) hour days, Monday–Friday, 0730 to 1630 local time, with a one (1) hour lunch break.
