What Youโ€™ll Do:

We are hiring skilled and dedicated Access Control Officer to provide a safe environment and responsible for delivering excellent for residents, guests, visitors, employees and company assets via established procedures and practices. Accurately control access to authorized persons coming onto the island, while maintaining excellent customer service skills.

  • Maintain established policies and procedures as they pertain to authorized access of persons and vehicles
  • Communicate (speak, read, write) clearly in order to assist guests and expedite clearance procedures
  • Present a professional attire at all times
  • Maintain lines of communication with Clearance Center, Shift Supervisor and Security Management
  • Provide excellent customer service to all persons arriving to the terminal
  • Coordinate with Island Transportation Department for the safe boarding of vehicles and passengers
  • Report and document all complaints, delays, incidents and topics of importance to the senior officer
  • Accurately handle and document all packages delivered to the post
  • Assist pedestrians with luggage and carry-on bags
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Two yearsโ€™ experience in customer service security/safety field preferred
  • Excellent communication and judgment skills
  • Ability to speak, read and write English
  • Have knowledge of all applicable State and Federal laws.
  • Able to work any shift, including flexible schedules, nights, weekends & holidays.
