Job description

About the Role:
This Moves Manager position is a dynamic role focused on planning and executing workplace relocations while maintaining exceptional client service. You'll serve as the area point of contact for all move management activities, coordinating cross-functional teams including vendors, facilities, IT, and construction partners. The role requires strong time management capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting financial targets and client expectations.
Travel frequently between sites throughout Bellevue, Redmond and Seattle for oversight of daily tasks and moves.
What You'll Do:
  • Partner with occupancy planning for data collection, floor plan review and ensuring wayfinding systems are accurate and up to date.
  • Manage direct report on large and small move projects ensuring accuracy and project completion.
  • Managing vendor and contractor relationships including evaluating proposals, recommending selections, and ensuring compliance with performance standards
  • Coordinating with service providers across IT, construction, furniture installation, and technology teams to determine implementation dates and manage work orders for furniture reconfigurations and space enhancements
  • Maintaining project documentation including setting up files using Best Practices, developing client-specific reporting.
  • Preparing and distributing move communications, providing on-site support during moves, managing post-move help desks, and resolving punch list items to completion
  • Lead weekly move projects, including nights and weekends.
  • Lead project meetings with clients and stakeholders, managing financial targets, processing invoices for timely payment, and ensuring all activities comply with key performance indicators and company policies
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, construction management, architecture, facility management, or related field
  • 3-4 years of move management, facility, project, or construction-related experience in a Corporate Real Estate environment
  • Demonstrated experience successfully planning and managing relocations of large groups (500+ people)
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAFM technology with move management modules and facilities management systems
  • Strong technical skills and enhanced ability to utilize Google-suite, Microsoft Office suite and more.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to interact effectively with executive-level internal and external clients
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and as part of a team

What You'll Need:
  • Ability to work well under pressure with minimal guidance, along with the ability to anticipate client needs and changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of move management, construction and commercial real estate industry practices and terminology
  • Familiarity with architectural drawings, furniture planning concepts, and space planning principles
  • Understanding of business development principles and ability to contribute to client relationship management and expansion efforts
  • Previous experience leading teams and providing constructive feedback to project team members.
