Mood Care Counseling is seeking a dedicated and professional Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team. • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans for clients.
• Provide individualized and group therapy sessions using evidence-supported therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay updated on best practices in mental health treatment.

Your work will primarily focus on individuals and families who have limited access to mental health care. You will address a diverse array of mental health issues, supporting clients struggling with conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. By delivering tailored strategies, you will play a pivotal role in their journeys toward healing and achieving personal goals.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of New Jersey is essential.
• At least two years of post-licensure experience in counseling, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with a diverse clientele.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software and technology tools for effective client management.

• Specialty or additional training in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice.
• Experience working in a team-oriented healthcare environment demonstrating collaborative approaches to patient care.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, which will be commensurate with your experience and caseload. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a robust benefits package that includes:
