Beyond Pain Psychotherapy Services is seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our growing clinical team. This role is primarily remote, offering a flexible work structure to support your work-life balance. Our outpatient office serves as the foundation for our collaborative therapeutic community, where therapists and clients engage in meaningful work. The current operational hours for the role are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for a structured yet supportive work routine.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
• Collaborate closely with clients to design personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs, aspirations, and preferences.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Track and monitor client progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Engage collaboratively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated, multidisciplinary care.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continually refine your therapeutic approach.

The LMFT role focuses on engaging with a diverse patient population experiencing various mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and relational difficulties. Your work will center around fostering a safe, supportive therapeutic environment tailored to individual client journeys, allowing for deep connection and impactful healing.

• Possession of an active and valid state license: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is a must.
• Demonstrated ability to establish secure and trustworthy relationships with clients through outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental stance towards clients' experiences are essential for success in this role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary for efficient caseload handling and administrative duties.

• Prior experience working with mood disorders, addiction, or family systems.
• Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and the technology required for remote counseling.
• Additional certifications in evidence-based treatments or specialized therapeutic methods are a plus.
