Mood Care Psychological Services is seeking dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our remote team in Henderson, Nevada. Work Environment

As a member of our team, you will work remotely using telehealth technology, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your own home while reaching clients across various locations. Our team of licensed therapists collaborates with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive approach to each client's care, maintaining the highest standards of service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs through telehealth platforms, using standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, tailoring therapeutic interventions to meet diverse client needs.
  • Provide a range of therapeutic services, including individual therapy, group sessions, and family counseling, utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness approaches.
  • Respond to clients in crisis by providing immediate support and intervention via virtual means, ensuring safety and emotional stabilization.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and strategies, utilizing collaborative approaches to treatment planning.
  • Engage in public speaking and community outreach initiatives to promote mental health awareness and education, representing Mood Care in workshops and seminars.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population includes individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, many of whom face diverse mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. As a therapist at Mood Care, you will have the chance to work with underserved communities, enhancing your cultural competence and understanding of the various factors that influence mental health.

Qualifications
  • Possession of an active and independent license as an LMFT, LCPC, LCSW, or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • Completion of a master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building rapport with clients in a virtual setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work sensitively with clients from diverse cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to manage time efficiently while maintaining accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years of post-license clinical experience in a mental health setting, including experience in telehealth therapy. Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and community-based resources for mental health support is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits
