This position offers a fully remote work setting, allowing you to engage with clients from the comfort of your home or any suitable location. Utilizing our telehealth platform, you will conduct sessions via video calls, making it easier for clients to access care without the hurdles of travel. • Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to create personalized treatment plans that are tailored to each client's specific needs and goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, drawing on methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches.
• Facilitate individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients to express themselves and work through challenges.
• Document and maintain precise clinical records in accordance with ethical standards and legal requirements, ensuring comprehensive and accurate information is available for client assessments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care, sharing insights and strategies to support clients holistically.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in workshops, seminars, and training to remain informed about the latest research and best practices in mental health counseling.

Your primary focus will be on individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress management, and work-life balance issues. You will also support clients dealing with substance use disorders, equipping them with the coping strategies needed to navigate their recovery journey. Your empathetic approach will help clients feel understood and validated, fostering a therapeutic alliance that is essential for effective treatment.

• A Master's Degree in Professional Counseling or a related field.
• Your licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• At least one year of clinical experience working with psychiatric patients or those battling substance abuse.
• Competence in assessment and diagnosis and experience delivering individual and group therapy sessions.
• Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in telehealth platforms and documentation software.

• Demonstrated knowledge of various therapeutic techniques and a willingness to adapt to the needs of your clients.
• Experience working in a remote or telehealth counseling capacity is highly desirable.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical guidelines governing mental health practice.
