This position is fully remote, allowing for flexible working arrangements while providing essential mental health services. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including medical providers and support staff, to facilitate comprehensive care and enhance patient wellbeing. Our clinic employs advanced electronic health record systems to streamline documentation and improve client care continuity, making it easier for you to focus on what you do best—helping clients achieve their mental health goals.

• Conduct in-depth mental health evaluations and assessments, utilizing clinical precision to determine potential suicide risks and other immediate concerns.
• Provide crisis intervention services and psychotherapy, adapting therapeutic approaches to meet clients' unique needs even in challenging environments.
• Collaborate with medical team members to create and implement treatment plans that address complex psychiatric disorders effectively.
• Document patient care meticulously, monitoring progress while adhering to ethical standards and legal reporting requirements.
• Communicate effectively with care teams and clients, making informed recommendations and participating in case consultations to foster interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Develop personalized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices, offering therapeutic counseling and educational resources to help clients thrive.
• Deliver on-call crisis services during scheduled workdays, ensuring that support is available when clients need it most.
• Assess co-occurring disorders, including substance abuse issues, and tailor treatment plans accordingly to support clients' holistic recovery.

The primary clients you will work with include mothers and individuals from marginalized communities who face unique challenges related to mental health and social determinants of health. Your role will be crucial in creating safe spaces for these clients to express themselves and receive the help they need. By understanding the cultural and socioeconomic contexts of their experiences, you will provide targeted support aimed at facilitating lasting improvements in their mental health.

• A master’s or doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an independent state license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) to practice in your state of residence.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage a substantial caseload while maintaining effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
• A genuine passion for impacting lives and advancing the efficacy of behavioral healthcare.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft applications.
• Strong written communication skills for effective email correspondence and clinical documentation.
• A valid driver’s license, with the potential for occasional travel to conduct on-site visits as part of community outreach efforts.

• Experience with mental health assessments, community outreach programs, substance abuse treatment, or welfare services is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with co-occurring mental health and chemical dependency disorders will enhance your ability to serve clients more effectively.
