Job Description
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurobiology seeks a clinical researcher to be appointed to the Harbert Endowed Chair in Mood Disorders. The ideal candidate has depth of experience in a focused area of clinical practice with significant, related research support. Because the goal of this recruitment is to advance mood disorders research in the department, candidates should be considered leaders in their specific area of mood disorders work. Specifically, recruitment is for tenure-eligible faculty members who could be appointed at the Associate or Professor level. Applicants should have MD, MD/PhD or clinical psychologist PhD training or equivalent, including a vigorous clinical research program in mood disorders. Clinicians should be license-eligible in the State of Alabama.
