Mood Care Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in Toms River, New Jersey. • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health challenges, strengths, and available support systems.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s specific needs.
• Employ various treatment methods, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused therapy to facilitate healing.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans with clearly defined goals, regularly assessing progress and adjusting strategies as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and mental health professionals to deliver coordinated care to clients.
• Conduct crisis interventions, performing risk assessments and safety planning to ensure client safety during high-risk situations.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all client interactions, adhering to ethical and legal standards set forth by the profession.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops that provide valuable information and support to clients and their families.

The individuals served at Mood Care Counseling are primarily adults, couples, and families affected by a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and relationship difficulties. • A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New Jersey.

• At least two years of experience in a mental health, outpatient, or community health setting.
• A deep understanding of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and the ability to effectively implement them in practice.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and comprehensive assessment skills that enhance therapeutic alliances with clients.

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, with bonuses available based on performance metrics.
