Job description

At Bellota Labs, we are a fast‑paced, hypergrowth startup building the future of competitive gaming through ClubWPT Gold, a groundbreaking product from the World Poker Tour. Fueled by innovation, creativity, and a passion for exceptional player experiences, we are on a mission to redefine what modern gaming can look and feel like.

As we continue to scale, we are seeking a User Acquisition Manager to own and execute our paid social and paid search acquisition strategy. This role is the engine behind our ability to find, attract, and convert the right players at scale — turning ad spend into measurable growth across our gaming ecosystem.

This is a highly execution‑focused, data‑driven role for someone who lives inside the ad platforms and thrives on the intersection of creative performance and analytical rigor. You will own campaigns end‑to‑end — from strategy and creative briefing to launch, optimization, and reporting — with Meta as your primary daily environment and functional fluency across Google, Reddit, Snap, and Twitter/X.

Key Responsibilities Campaign Management & Execution
  • Own Meta as your primary owned channel with working knowledge of Google, Reddit, Snap, and Twitter/X as a bonus
  • Build, launch, and continuously optimize campaigns across prospecting and retargeting funnels
  • Manage budget allocation across platforms and campaigns to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS) and hit CPA targets
  • Maintain a rigorous testing cadence across audiences, creatives, bidding strategies, and placements
Creative Strategy & Collaboration
  • Partner with the Creative and Design teams to brief, iterate, and evaluate ad creative performance
  • Analyze creative data to identify winning concepts and inform the next round of production
  • Develop a clear point of view on what messaging, formats, and hooks resonate with our player audience
Analytics & Reporting
  • Track, report, and interpret campaign performance against KPIs including CPI, CPR, LTV, ROAS, and retention cohorts
  • Build dashboards and regular reporting cadences for internal stakeholders
  • Connect ad platform data with downstream product and revenue metrics to evaluate true acquisition quality
Platform Expertise & Growth
  • Stay current on Meta Ads platform changes, algorithm shifts, new formats, and policy updates
  • Maintain functional knowledge of Google (Search, UAC, YouTube), Reddit, Snap, and Twitter/X ad ecosystems — understanding each platform's unique audiences, formats, and optimization levers
  • Identify emerging platforms or channels worth testing as our acquisition mix matures
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Product, Analytics, and Creative to align acquisition strategy with retention and monetization goals
  • Contribute to the broader growth roadmap with data‑backed channel recommendations and forecasts
What We Are Looking For
  • Experience: 3+ years managing paid social with demonstrated hands‑on experience in Meta Ads Manager as a daily workflow tool
  • Meta Depth: Expert‑level command of Meta Ads — campaign structure, audience segmentation, pixel and Conversions API setup, creative testing frameworks, and algorithm optimization
  • Platform Fluency: Functional working knowledge of Google Ads (UAC, Search, YouTube), Reddit Ads, Snapchat Ads, and Twitter/X Ads — including how to adapt strategy and creative to each platform's audience and format
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong command of performance data, with the ability to translate numbers into clear optimization decisions and communicate findings to non‑technical stakeholders
  • Creative Eye: Ability to evaluate ad creative from a performance lens and provide specific, actionable feedback that improves results
  • Gaming or App Experience: Experience running UA campaigns for mobile apps, games, or subscription products strongly preferred; casino, competitive gaming, or live‑service game experience is a plus
  • Attribution & Measurement: Familiarity with mobile measurement partners (AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Singular); comfortable working with incrementality testing and attribution methodology
  • AI & Automation Fluency: Experience leveraging AI tools for ad copy iteration, creative testing at scale, or workflow automation is a plus
  • Educational Background: Degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field preferred — or equivalent demonstrated experience
What Sets Bellota Labs Apart

A Globally Recognized Brand You will be building growth for one of the most iconic brands in gaming through our partnership with the World Poker Tour and ClubWPT Gold — a product with genuine brand equity and a passionate player base.

Real Ownership & Impact This is not a role inside a large agency or a bloated marketing department. You will have direct ownership over spend, strategy, and outcomes, with high visibility into company leadership and meaningful influence on growth trajectory.

Opportunity to Build We are scaling fast and building the acquisition function to match. This is a chance to establish playbooks, processes, and channel strategy from the ground up — not inherit a static setup.

Strong Cross‑Functional Culture We are deeply collaborative across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and Operations. We value thoughtful debate, player empathy, and shared ownership in building exceptional experiences.

$150,000 - $200,000 a year
