Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to our Head of User Acquisition, you will be responsible for campaign management and strategy across paid channels, with an initial emphasis on Meta Ads and In-app channels. Collaborating closely with creative, data and product, the User Acquisition Manager will play a leading role in unlocking profitable growth and scaling new & existing paid channels to help introduce Jackpot to prospective players. The ideal candidate has extensive experience owning paid social campaign operations and creative strategy  for a mobile app with a strong analytical skill set that will help drive aggressive business growth. While this is a remote position, the ideal candidate must be based in New York state.  

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Own advertising campaigns on paid social and in-app advertising channels, accountable for growth strategies, building & optimizing campaigns, tracking & reporting KPIs, and creative strategy. 
  • Assist in managing third party ad network relationships
    • Research and recommend third party ad networks to test
    • Onboard & integrate new ad partners with our attribution platform (Appsflyer)
    • Supply managed service networks with assets, creative refreshes, tracking links, etc.
    • Monitor campaign performance and recommend optimizations 
  • Develop a test and learn framework centered around audience segmentation, creative optimization and bid strategy
  • Lead project management process with our marketing designer. Working to develop and test winning ad creatives based on performance data 
  • Work closely with the head of acquisition to create budgets and channel KPIs to improve the execution of paid ad campaigns and overall contribution to business growth
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance in collaboration with internal team and external measurement partners, provide the wider team and stakeholders with regular updates and insights
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in order to recommend new paid media tactics, concepts, and approaches to inform broader marketing strategy
  • Maintain strong relationships with our advertising platform representatives for consistent support and to ensure Jackpot stays ahead of the curve on advertising strategies and trends

YOU HAVE:

  • ​​​​Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Deep knowledge and expertise (4+ years) in building, optimizing and reporting on Paid Social and App channels (Meta, Tiktok, Snap, Applovin)
  • Analytically driven with strong understanding of underlying data and methodologies used to inform decision making and drive performance. Bonus if you are familiar with Event APIs and detailed attribution methodologies
  • Effective communicator with strong writing and communication skills
  • Experience using AI tools to automate processes and inform strategic media decisions
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
  • Excellent platform skills, including Excel, Meta Ads Manager, and Data visualization tools

IT'S A BONUS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Experience at a real money gaming or mobile game developer preferred
  • Experience crafting compelling ad copy & landing pages
  • Experience with graphic design tools such as Figma or Canva
  • Experience with mobile app tracking solutions preferred (i.e. AppsFlyer)
