Job description

Summary

The primary function of the Recruit Specialist is to effectively communicate with military recruiters and recruits nationwide about Armed Forces Bank, N.A. (AFB) Recruit Program. The promotion of the AFB Recruit Program requires a strong knowledge of the various military branches of service, recruiting, and recruiters, and results in opening new accounts for recruits by a Recruit Specialist.

Responsibilities

  • Communication with military recruits and recruiters via outbound communication (telephone, email, and letter) regarding the Recruit Program as well as the bank and bank products (accounts and convenience products). Correspondence volume (daily, weekly, and monthly) is determined by the Recruit Department Manager, according to position level and gross account totals.
  • Accept and respond to incoming military recruiter and recruit communication regarding the Recruit Program, the bank, and bank products.
  • Perform account opening and account maintenance via AEM and Navigator.
  • Research, organize, and assemble information to support promotion efforts of Recruit Program to military recruiters and recruits. This involves Recruit Database research and kit assembly for military recruiters and recruits.
  • Continual development of knowledge regarding the bank (history, policies, and procedures), banking products, and Recruit Program customer base (military recruits and recruiters).
  • Protect all client and bank information confidentially and follow all company policies.
  • Understand, communicate, and instill the Company's mission, vision, and values (Pillars of Success).
  • Complete monthly training in a timely manner to ensure knowledge of bank regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Working at the worksite during regular business hours and/or assigned hours.
  • Other specified duties as assigned.

Compensation & Benefits

The Recruit Spec I position pays a minimum of $18.00 per hour. This position is eligible for additional incentive compensation monthly, based on achievement of established incentive goals.
