Job description

What You Can Expect In This Role
Under general guidance, perform design and configuration of the Company's middleware infrastructure and platforms. Responsible forcommon middleware and integration infrastructure to support communication between multiple enterprise applications. Design, develop,configure, analyze, deploy and continually improve operation of middleware technologies.
What You'll Do In This Role
• Partner with Developers and Architects during project initiation to define integration direction and approach to meet evolving business needs. Analyze, configure, test, document new or existing middleware systems to increase Company proficiency to meet present and future needs.
• Automate the implementation and configuration of middleware and integration products using Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools.
• Lead and coordinate operational tasks and incidents with offshore consultants.
• Analyze current processes to develop improvements and automate them where applicable.
• Monitor and manage performance and usage of the middleware environment.
• Develop, implement and document strategies for migration, consolidation and upgrade of middleware and integration components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely, accurate manner to improve application performance and functionality.
• Responsible for the administration, maintenance, installation and operation of middleware components.
• Perform daily operational tasks and system reviews to ensure proper execution of scheduled tasks and resolution of issues or requests.
• Represent the Infrastructure and IT Middleware Department with respect to infrastructure needs and impact to application development projects and business initiatives, as needed.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's Degree Management Information Systems, Computer Information Technology or related IT field Preferred
  • Minimum 5 years' combined experience administering middleware applications (MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Apache Tomcat, WebSphere, IIS or similar) Preferred
  • Experience working in Windows operating environments Required
  • Experience with DevOps tools and concepts (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.) and how these fit in CI/CD pipelines Preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of building automation for cloud environments and associated tools desired
  • Previous experience in administering MuleSoft applications, including Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio preferred
  • Previous experience in administering Confluent Cloud applications, including Kafka, ksqlDB, Kafka connectors preferred
  • Proficient in event-based integrations, connectors and other tools for Amazon S3, Amazon MQ, HTTP REST APIs, OIDC/OAuth (Okta), Java libraries, relational databases, file shares preferred
  • Previous experience with Azure Service Bus, Amazon MQ, Managed File Transfer platforms, and OIDC/OAuth service provider/identity provider configurations preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/PCF etc.) preferred
  • Understanding of Linux operating environments, Linux command line utility and automation scripting
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of infrastructure as code and application development methodologies such as Agile
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver on project and task commitments
  • Willingness to work on a geographically-dispersed team
  • Strong interpersonal, oral communication and organizational skills
  • Proven analytical ability and problem solving skills

Salary Range Information
USD $76,158.00 - USD $158,663.00 /Yr. Range includes data points from multiple labor markets. Specific range is dependent on the labor market where the incumbent will be hired to perform the position. Starting salary is dependent on candidate qualifications and experience. For a narrower salary range specific to your labor market, please inquire.
