Job description

Job Title: Middleware Support System Administrator (IBM Middleware)

Location: Minnesota (Hybrid – Onsite required)
Experience: 8–10+ Years
Type: Contract


Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Middleware Support System Administrator to support and maintain enterprise-level IBM middleware environments. The candidate will be responsible for deployment, administration, troubleshooting, and integration of middleware platforms, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, deploy, and support IBM middleware products such as WebSphere, BPM/BAW, IIB/ACE, MQ, and HTTP Server
  • Provide support for enterprise applications including HHS systems and IBM Curam
  • Implement highly available and secure systems using F5 load balancers
  • Automate deployments using Jenkins and Ansible
  • Troubleshoot middleware, server, and OS-related issues and provide resolution
  • Monitor systems and ensure adherence to operational procedures
  • Deploy code updates and apply fix packs across middleware environments
  • Maintain architecture consistency across environments
  • Develop technical design and architecture documentation
  • Support IAM integrations and enterprise security solutions
  • Manage small to medium-level projects and provide knowledge transfer

Required Skills:
  • Strong experience with IBM WebSphere, BPM/BAW, IIB/ACE, MQ
  • Experience with Informatica ActiveVOS
  • Hands-on experience with F5 Big-IP (Load balancing & security)
  • Experience working with healthcare-related applications (HHS systems)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in middleware and server environments

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with IBM Curam
  • Linux administration and scripting
  • Experience with Oracle Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Experience with IBM Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM)
  • Strong experience in middleware architecture and design
