The Opportunity:IntePros Federal is identifying Key Personnel for an upcoming bid supporting PL ALTESS. We are seeking a Senior Middleware Team Lead to be named in our proposal. This role will support and administer mid‑tier infrastructure across Linux, UNIX, and Windows environments.The Senior Middleware Team Lead will architect mid‑tier systems; install and configure application and web servers; and ensure environments meet strict availability, performance, and security requirements. Responsibilities include planning deployments, scheduling installations, and maintaining system monitoring dashboards.Qualified candidates will have strong experience with enterprise middleware platforms such as IIS, Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, or WebSphere, along with familiarity in Java or C# for application debugging and working knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server databases.This Key Personnel role requires knowledge of DoD STIGs, SRRs, and POA&M documentation, as well as the ability to work professionally with customers and cross‑functional teams to ensure all systems meet ALTESS and Army security standards.Clearance:Required: Active DoD Secret Security ClearanceLocation:Radford, VA - onsiteEducation:Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline preferredEquivalent years of experience managing application development projects may be consideredResponsibilities - Activities may include, but are not limited to:Architect, deploy, configure, and administer middleware infrastructure supporting enterprise customer applications.Install, configure, and maintain Application Servers, Web Servers, Portals, and associated software products across Linux, UNIX, and WindowsEnsure mid‑tier infrastructure meets availability, performance, and securityAssist in scheduling deployment activities and planning new installations of mid‑tier components.Develop and maintain security standards for the mid‑tier and ensure compliance with ALTESS and Army security requirements.Create and maintain system monitoring dashboards and administrative tools to support proactive system management.Perform Security Readiness Reviews (SRR) and document findings in Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M)Support developers by assisting with debugging and troubleshooting application issues using Java or C# knowledge.Maintain and support middleware environments involving IIS, Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere, or similar platforms.Support and troubleshoot SOAP and REST web services.Utilize XML technologies including XML, DTD, XSLT, Xerces, and Xalan.Provide support for Oracle and SQL Server RDBMS environments.Maintain UNIX and Windows administration skills to support cross‑platform middleware operations.Utilize Python and PowerShell scripting to enhance automation and operational efficiency.Communicate professionally with customers and stakeholders, providing clear status updates and technical guidance.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration and modernization of mid‑tier systemQualifications Required:Three or more years experience with Application Server architecture in a large enterprise environmentKnowledge of IIS, Apache Tomcat, Apache, Java, WebLogic, WebSphere, or similar server systemsKnowledge of SOAP and REST web servicesKnowledge of XMLFamiliarity with Java or C# to assist developers with debuggingKnowledge of UNIX and Windows administrationAbility to relate professionally to customersQualifications Desired:Working knowledge of DoD STIGs and IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM)Knowledge of Python and PowerShellKnowledge of Oracle RDBMS and SQL Server RDBMSKnowledge of DTD, XSLT, Xerces, XalanWho We Are: IntePros Federal is a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned, Small Business headquartered in Washington, DC, providing IT solutions, systems, and software services to multiple federal government agencies.
