Logistics Analyst III (Mid-level)

Washington, DC, US

Job Title: Logistics Analyst III (Mid-level)

Position Number: LAIII 001

Location: Washington, DC

Worksite: Hybrid: 3 days at contractor facility in Arlington VA, 2 days remote, and Washington Navy Yard, DC as needed.

Travel: Domestic travel required; occasional trips to fleet concentration areas in support of program requirements.

Status: Full-Time

Clearance: Secret

Job Summary:

The logistics analyst provides integrated logistics support to the management and technical staff at Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Program Executive Office, Unmanned and Small Combatants (PEO USC), Program Management Office 340 (PMS 340). PMS 340 develops, fields, and sustains combatant craft and mission systems in support of Naval Special Warfare (NSW) forces.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The logistics analyst will perform the following functions:

  • Perform integrated logistics support analysis for assigned platforms and systems.
  • Develop and maintain logistics products, including provisioning technical documentation, maintenance plans, and supply support requests.
  • Analyze supportability data to identify life-cycle sustainment risks and cost drivers.
  • Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and supply personnel to ensure logistics requirements is integrated into program planning.
  • Support development of integrated logistics support plans and life-cycle sustainment plans.
  • Track and report on spares, repair parts, and support equipment availability.
  • Assist in the review of technical manuals, drawings, and provisioning data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Support fielding, deployment, and sustainment logistics for combatant craft and associated systems.
  • Monitor logistics metrics and readiness indicators and prepare status reports for program leadership.
  • Support records management for logistics documentation.

Qualifications:

The following experience is required:

  • More than 4 years of relevant logistics analysis experience supporting similar technical programs.
  • Secret security clearance.

Additionally, the following attributes are desired:

  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Logistics Level 3 certification or equivalent.
  • More than 7 years of relevant logistics analysis experience.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense acquisition and sustainment processes.
