1st Shift: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday | 4:30 PM – 2:00 AM
Shift Differential: 25% for 2nd Shift
Overtime: As Needed
Experience Level: Mid-Level (3+ Years)
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

This role exists to support the production of precision aerospace components that require exceptional surface finishes, edge quality, and blueprint compliance before reaching customers.

At B&E Tool Operations, Burr Hands play a critical role in ensuring complex machined components meet aerospace quality standards through detailed finishing, blending, and deburring processes.

The Work You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Deburr and finish complex aerospace components
  • Remove external and internal burrs using abrasive tooling and hand-finishing equipment
  • Blend surfaces and form radii to blueprint specifications
  • Work with magnification equipment and borescopes to inspect intricate features
  • Read operation sheets, blueprints, and work instructions
  • Verify dimensions and visual requirements using precision measuring tools
  • Complete production and quality documentation
  • Maintain compliance with AS9100 and ISO9001 requirements
  • Identify and report quality concerns or discrepancies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

This position requires a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail, particularly when working on complex internal features and aerospace-quality finishes.
