Job description

St. Luke's Methodist Church is a large, fast-growing, church with multiple campuses and a significant outreach to the community.
Our mission at St. Luke's is to share God's love and bring hope to the world. We accomplish that by sharing the message of Christ, growing in our faith, and serving the community. At our EDMOND CAMPUS, we are seeking high-energy candidates who are enthusiastic and have an outgoing personality for our coffee/book shop. This is a part time position for creative people with proven experience. We offer a competitive salary commensurate to experience.
Essential Functions:
  • Greet and assist guests with exceptional customer service
  • Responsible for organizing displays and restocking merchandise
  • Accountable for labeling and receiving all products
  • Assist manager with marketing and promotional items
  • Maintain a clean environment at all times
  • Prepare all Starbucks Coffee beverages for customers (will train)
  • Assist with monthly inventory audits

Available Shifts and Pay Rate:
  • Sunday: 8:00 AM -12:30 PM
  • Various shifts: Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Wednesday Evenings or special occasions as needed: 4:00PM - 7:00 PM
  • $12.00 - $14.00/ hour

Requirements:
  • Ability to lift 10-25 lbs.
  • Pass extensive background check
  • Ability to communicate well with all types of people
