About the Role:
Trinity United Methodist Church in Columbus, OH is looking for a passionate and dedicated Sunday School Teacher to inspire and nurture the faith of our youngest members. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting spiritual impact in a warm, welcoming church community. Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate Sunday School lessons rooted in Biblical teachings - curriculum will be provided
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment for children
  • Incorporate interactive activities, storytelling, and crafts to reinforce scripture and Christian values
  • Participate in church events, programs, and teacher training as needed
  • Model Christ-centered behavior and serve as a positive spiritual role model
Requirements:
  • Christian faith with a commitment to United Methodist values and beliefs
  • Prior experience in teaching or childcare preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and families
  • Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic about faith formation
  • Must pass a background check in accordance with church safety policies
  • Reliable and punctual with a consistent Sunday availability
