Position Overview
The Member Services Associate is a key part of successful club operations including client services, facility upkeep, sales, inventory management, product knowledge, and program facilitation. They provide support to the management and coaching teams, as the team works together to provide each guest with a valuable experience.
This is a great position for someone looking to utilize their administrative and customer service experience while growing their skills in marketing, the sports industry, operations management, sales, and business development. We aim to help professionals grow personally and thrive in various positions at Court 16 and beyond. All Court 16 team members are entrusted with exciting responsibilities, and we strive to create a positive and inclusive work environment where all passionate individuals can succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
  • Deliver an exceptional client experience through professionalism, consistency, and attention to detail.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries, registrations, and daily check-ins.
  • Welcome clients with warmth and efficiency, ensuring smooth transitions into programs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting facility-including opening/closing procedures and court setups.
  • Accurately manage client records for attendance, payments, and required documentation.
  • Collaborate with staff to support events, camps, and consistent program delivery.

Sales & Program Growth
  • Engage with current and prospective clients to promote programs and membership options.
  • Recommend packages, private sessions, or upgrades based on client interests and goals.
  • Assist in achieving monthly sales and retention goals through follow-ups and lead conversion.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts, community events, and brand visibility initiatives throughout the Greater Boston area.
  • Support scheduling, inventory, and operational planning to maximize program efficiency.

What We're Looking For
  • Experience working in guest/customer service and adapting communication styles accordingly.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with extreme attention to detail.
  • Consistently responsive and able to use creative thinking and resourcefulness in new or ambiguous situations.
  • Proficiency with computer and technology systems; familiarity with Google Suite, MindBody, and HubSpot is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use appropriate discretion.
  • Interest in learning new skills and taking on new responsibilities when appropriate.
