Job description

The Patient Registration Associate is responsible for setting up patient appointment, financial counseling, registration, medical records, receptionist and other administrative and clerical functions in the Ambulatory Care Clinics.

  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Successful completion of a course in billing.
  • One (1) to two (2) years in health care clerical related experience
  • Must speak English proficiently. Legible handwriting
  • Moderate to strong data processing, computer and typing skills
  • Ability to meet public, communicate clearly on the telephone, interact with patients, staff and other hospital departments
  • Ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgment in a pressured environment.
