Who You Are
The Medical Records Receptionist provides essential support to the organization by managing patient records and perform administrative duties while ensuring medical records are accurately maintained and released in compliance with privacy regulations like HIPAA and 42 CFR.
What You'll Do
  • Responsible for all medical record request
  • Assist with various projects as assigned
  • Sorts incoming mail and disperses to buildings accordingly
  • Sends outgoing mail and packages as requested by Human Resources Department and Gentle Heart Recovery Executive Team
  • Answer incoming phone calls at the home office location and follow-ups accordingly.
  • Provides administrative support to the Gentle Heart Recovery Executive Team as needed
  • Complete External Appeals as requested

What You Bring
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associate's degree preferred
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in Medical Records
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and other information
  • Must be able to navigate electronic medical records (EMRs)

SKILLS:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills & ability to adhere to strict deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Must have the ability to multitask
  • Ability to prioritize task accordingly
