Job description

TeleSolv Consulting is seeking a File Clerk to support government operations workflows in our Hialeah Metro office.
This role will support the federal government and all applicants MUST be local to the Hialeah, FL area.
The File Clerk will serve as an integral member of a Government Field Office team, providing full-time administrative and operational support that ensures the continuity, accuracy, and accessibility of critical records. This position actively supports the Government's processing, adjudication, and records-management workflows by executing precise, time sensitive tasks that uphold the highest standards of data integrity and service.
This role supports a Government mission centered on maintaining and safeguarding official records essential to the processing of forms, applications, and related documentation. Through disciplined file management and system updates, the File Clerk ensures seamless operations across multiple Government facilities.
  • Performing file operations and maintenance, including storage, interfiling, consolidation, searches, and fulfilling file requests. 
  • Updating Government systems with accuracy and timeliness. 
  • Conducting regular audits of file rooms and traveling to other Government facilities to support audit initiatives. 
  • Connecting incoming correspondence to existing files and ensuring proper linkage. 
  • Scanning large, multi page documents for digital recordkeeping. 
  • Filing copies of naturalization certificates and notices and supporting close out procedures for citizenship ceremonies. 
  • Supporting the processing of forms and applications used throughout Government adjudication processes.
  • Performing additional administrative duties as assigned
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Eligibility to obtain a Public Trust/Suitability Clearance from the Government.
  • Ability to lift and carry 45 lbs. or more in a physical environment. 
  • Ability to bend, stoop, climb, and reach during daily tasks. 
  • Strong reading comprehension in English.
  • Prior experience working in a Government recordkeeping, administrative support, or file-management environment.
  • Familiarity with digital scanning systems or high volume document imaging processes.
  • Experience supporting Government adjudication workflows or high security processing environments.
