Operations Director

To succeed as our Operations Director, you should have:        

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years in operations leadership, supply chain management, and wholesale distribution, preferably in the electronics/components industry
  • Advanced expertise in SAP S/4HANA (MM, SD, EWM modules), inventory optimization, demand planning, and warehouse automation systems
  • Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt preferred); APICS/CPIM/CSCP highly desirable
  • Fluency in English required; Spanish or German a plus; ability to travel internationally (Europe/Latin America) as needed

The Operations Director's responsibilities will include:        

  • Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, purchasing, inventory management, and distribution for a multi-national wholesale environment
  • Drive S&OP alignment and sales forecasting, optimizing safety stock levels, reorder points, and inventory turnover metrics
  • Oversee warehouse operations & SAP EWM implementation (2026), including system redesign, staff training, and post-go-live optimization
  • Develop and execute Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and improve service levels
  • Build and mentor high-performing teams while ensuring compliance, KPI performance, and financial accountability (cost, cash flow, risk)
