Job description

A challenging and rewarding opportunity awaits a new full time Medical Operations Coordinator at Sante Health System in Fresno, CA. This role is responsible for providing administrative and operational support for Central Valley Women's Health Associates.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent required
  • Recent graduate from a Medical Office Administration program or minimum 1-2 years of healthcare outpatient, billing or management experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of basic business office policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of basic computer systems, programs and applications.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing.
  • Ability to evaluate and make recommendations for continuous quality improvement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and assist with administrative and operational tasks such as maintain full provider schedules, receipt and completion of referrals, assist office manager with staffing needs, etc.
  • Monitor current metrics to determine success of office visit and pre-operative workflows.
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Work closely with physicians, providers and management.
  • Help ensure exceptional patient service and care and office efficiency.
  • In the spirit of teamwork, employees are expected to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job-related duties as requested.
