Job description

Medasource is seeking a local contract CT Technologist for a local contract job in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Shift: 12 hours, days, evenings, nights
  • Employment Type: Local Contract

We are seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures according to physician orders. In this role, you will operate specialized CT equipment to produce high-quality cross-sectional images that assist radiologists in diagnosing a wide range of diseases and medical conditions.

This position requires strong technical ability and the confidence to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high standards of patient care and imaging quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT imaging procedures on patients according to physician orders and established protocols
  • Produce high-quality cross-sectional images of anatomical structures for diagnostic interpretation
  • Utilize Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) for documentation and imaging workflow
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during imaging procedures
  • Follow established radiation safety standards and imaging protocols
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Troubleshoot imaging equipment and escalate issues when necessary

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Current Indiana Radiologic Technologist License (Required)
  • ARRT Certification – Radiography and CT [ARRT (R)(CT)] Required
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
