Job description

PRN Pay range $20-$22 per hour, depending on experience
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction.
We are currently seeking a PRN Medical Assistant to join our team at Plainfield Correctional Facility located in Plainfield, Indiana.
The Medical Assistant works under the direction of the RN or LPN and is responsible for monitoring patient vital signs, implementing orders for diagnostic lab test, and assisting the Physician with minor procedures. Additionally, responsibilities include recording EKGs, maintaining and cleaning medical equipment, and collecting data for Quality Improvement programs, as assigned.
  • Current Indiana Medical Assistant license/certification
  • Minimum of 6 months Lab Experience
  • Current CPR
  • Corrections experience preferred, not required
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
