General Responsibilities

Since 1983, Vehrs Distributing has been on a mission to create and deliver the finest premium wine and spirits portfolio in the Pacific Northwest. As we expand our offerings to include non-alcoholic beverages and reach more clients in the Western Washington region, we're looking for an Administrative Assistant. This role provides administrative support to the Executive Leadership Team.


Essential Functions

  • Facilitate scheduling and coordinate use of meeting spaces.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and expense reports for leadership.
  • Perform typing and document creation tasks as required.
  • Manage office supplies for the company headquarters.
  • Assist as needed with administrative tasks, such as pulling sales and commission reports.
  • Receive and route incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Coordinate arrangements for visitors.
  • Maintain a clean work environment including shared spaces.
  • Perform set-up and tear down for events, tastings, etc. 

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal teams.
  • Competent with mobile devices, email, and basic computer applications.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Education Requirements

  • Associates Degree preferred; equivalent office experience considered.
  • Wine/spirits knowledge preferred.

Compensation

This is a full time position that pay $25/hour.

  • This position starts at 80 hours of paid vacation per year. Our tiered accrual schedule increases based on seniority, capping at 160 hours after six years of service.
