Volt is hiring an Office Administrative Assistant for a leading non-profit organization in Seattle, WA.
As an Office Administrative Assistant, you will:
The Office and Administrative Assistant support daily operations in the Seattle office by managing supplies, coordinating meetings and events, greeting visitors, and providing general administrative help. The role also assists executives with scheduling, meeting prep, and correspondence. It requires a proactive, reliable individual who can handle a fast-paced environment and is motivated to grow in office or executive support work.
  • Welcome guests, staff, and visitors to the office in a professional and friendly manner
  • Order and maintain office supplies, tracking inventory levels and placing orders before items run out
  • Respond to general inquiries received through the office phone line and shared inbox.
  • Acts as a backup to the EA, supporting the C-Suite team
  • Assist with data entry and record-keeping in shared systems (e.g., Asana, SharePoint, Salesforce).
  • Partner with the Executive Assistant to prepare and print daily meeting packets and travel packets
  • Print daily news clips and other "quick prints" for the CEO and CIO
  • Assist staff with room booking and hot-desk reservations

This is a Full-time, temp to hire opportunity. 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday- Friday 9am- 5:30pm
The ideal candidate will have:
  • 1-2 years of office, administrative, or customer-facing experience
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable managing recurring operational tasks
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Ability to sit/stand and move within work areas. 70% of time is sitting in meetings.

Pay Rate: $32/hr. -$36/hr. DOE
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
