Job description

We are seeking a Stir Fry Wok Chef to join our team. Prior Thai or Asian cuisine experience is a plus! You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and dedicate time to expanding our clientele base and help establish the restaurant's brand and reputation by recreating our master chefs Thai dishes.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in day-to-day culinary operations
  • Prep food, sauces and fulfill kitchen orders
  • Check freshness and quality of ingredients
  • Assist in the preparation of appetizers and soups
  • Standardize recipes and plate presentations as directed
  • Work with management to create a memorable experience for our guests

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in culinary arts, wok cooking, or other related fields
  • Knowledge of Thai Cuisine, Wok & Stir Fry cooking a plus
  • Passion for food and cooking techniques
  • Bilingual, Spanish & English a plus
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Thai Meal has been in operation over 10 years and has a huge following of regular customers. We are open Mon-Sat. and closed Sundays, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day as well as Memorial, Labor Day and July 4th. We believe that holiday and family time is important and do our best to nurture this belief. Our team is happy and healthy because we care!
