General Manager - New Hotel Launch

Shaner Hotels is seeking a dynamic Opening General Manager to lead the launch of a new 136-room AC Marriott Hotel, opening Spring 2027, within a vibrant mixed-use development in Brecksville, OH.

This leader will shape the overall hotel experience - guiding operations, driving financial performance, and building a high-energy team passionate about delivering memorable, personalized stays. ย We're seeking a hands-on operator who can bring the brand to life, lead innovative sales strategies, inspire associates, and serve as a dynamic, visible presence within both the hotel and the local community. ย 

What You'll Do:

  • Lead all hotel operations, financial performance, and team development.
  • Drive sales, marketing, and revenue growth strategies.
  • Build and motivate a service-focused team culture.
  • Ensure corporate policies and brand standards are upheld while consistently exceeding guest satisfaction goals.
  • Act as a visible leader for guests, staff, and the community.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of progressive hotel leadership experience; Marriott experience preferred.
  • New hotel opening experience a plus.
  • Strong financial, operational, and team leadership skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
