Position Summary:
Del Taco is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Technology Manager to own and optimize the technology ecosystem that powers our digital guest experience and marketing performance. The Digital Program Manager is responsible for leading and executing Marketing Technology (MarTech) initiatives that drive business growth, enhance customer experience, and improve operational efficiency. This role owns end-to-end program delivery, aligning cross-functional teams across Marketing, Product, Data, and Engineering while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable impact.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with disciplined program management and a deep understanding of restaurant digital channels, including online ordering, mobile apps, kiosks, and payments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Marketing Technology Stack Management
  • Own and manage Del Taco's end-to-end marketing technology ecosystem, including digital ordering, mobile app, loyalty, CRM, and messaging platforms
  • Evaluate, implement, and optimize new technologies to support business growth and innovation
  • Maintain platform governance, including system configurations, user access, and data integrity

  • Systems Integration & Technical Oversight
  • Oversee integrations between POS, online ordering, mobile app, payment systems, and customer data platforms
  • Partner with internal IT and external vendors to ensure seamless API connectivity and data flow
  • Troubleshoot system issues and lead resolution across cross-functional teams
  • Ensure system performance, uptime, and scalability across all digital channels

  • Digital Ordering & Channel Optimization
  • Optimize digital ordering channels (web, mobile app, and third-party platforms) to drive conversion and revenue
  • Manage menu configurations, availability logic, upsell rules, and promotional execution
  • Partner with Marketing and Operations to ensure consistency across all ordering channels
  • Support growth of first-party digital sales

  • Mobile App & Digital Experience
  • Lead development and enhancement of mobile app features and functionality

  • Campaign Enablement
  • Partner with Marketing to execute campaigns through technology platforms (email, SMS, push notifications, in-app)

  • Ensure campaigns are properly implemented, tracked, and optimized

  • Payments, Loyalty & Gift Card Systems
  • Oversee integrations with payment processors, digital wallets, and stored value systems

  • Support promotional offers, discounts, and bundled pricing logic
  • Partner with Finance on transaction accuracy, reporting, and issue resolution

  • In-Restaurant Technology
  • Support kiosk and in-store digital ordering systems
  • Optimize upsell and cross-sell logic within kiosks and POS-integrated experiences
  • Ensure alignment between in-store and digital channels (menus, pricing, promotions)
  • Partner with Operations on rollout and support across locations

  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management
  • Manage relationships with key technology vendors and service providers
  • Act as primary point of contact for platform performance, enhancements, and issue resolution
  • Align cross-functional stakeholders across Marketing, IT, Operations, and Finance
  • Support vendor evaluation, selection, and contract management

  • Program & Project Management
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives including platform launches, integrations, and system upgrades
  • Define requirements, timelines, and success metrics
  • Manage testing, QA, and deployment processes
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned with business goals

  • Data Privacy & Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, including the California Consumer Privacy Act
  • Manage customer data access and deletion requests
  • Partner with Legal and IT to maintain secure data handling practices
  • Ensure compliance across all marketing technology platforms

Qualifications:
Required:
  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing Technology, Digital Product Management, or Technical Program Management
  • Strong technical acumen, including experience with APIs, integrations, and SaaS platforms
  • Experience in restaurant, QSR, retail, or franchise environments
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and vendor relationships
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Preferred:
  • Experience with digital ordering platforms, mobile apps, and POS integrations
  • Familiarity with loyalty platforms, CDPs, and campaign management tools
  • Experience with kiosk or in-store digital technology
  • Knowledge of payment systems and gift card platforms
  • Agile or PMP certification
