Marketing Account Manager (Marketing Specialist/Marketing Specialist, Senior)

Under general direction, leads, coordinates, and manages innovative marketing programs. Develops and implements innovative marketing programs with emphasis on research, strategic planning, execution, problem solving and evaluation.

Marketing Specialist is a non-exempt position in salary grade 180. Min - $36.86 | Mid - $44.03 | Max - $51.20/hr.

Marketing Specialist, Senior is an exempt position in salary grade 190. Min - $84,531.20 | Mid - $100,984.00 | Max - $117,416.00

The starting salary will be within this range based on qualifications.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, develop, and execute innovative marketing campaigns, advertising programs, and promotions aligned with strategic goals
  • Design and implement creative strategies to increase awareness and adoption of alternative transportation options
  • Manage end-to-end marketing programs, including research, planning, execution, performance tracking, and evaluation
  • Analyze market trends and data to generate actionable insights and inform strategic decisions
  • Develop scopes of work, issue RFPs, evaluate proposals, and support contract negotiations with vendors and consultants
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-impact campaigns on time and within budget
  • Oversee and monitor program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and reporting to leadership

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum of five years of professional marketing, promotions, or events experience (Senior level only, 3 years for Specialist)
  • Strong sales, outreach, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience developing and managing marketing campaigns and budgets
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Spanish language proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) required for both levels
  • Valid California driver's license required
