Job Title: Marketing & Development Associate

Department: Marketing

Reports To: Marketing and Development Manager

Location: To be determined - Within Agency Catchment Area

Effective Date: 01/09/2025

Job Purpose To enhance the organization's visibility and engagement by supporting marketing, branding, and community outreach initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

Social Media & Marketing Design

  • Create and manage engaging social media content aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Design marketing materials (e.g., brochures, flyers, ads, presentations).

Website & SEO/SEM Management

  • Update website content; analyze and improve user experience.
  • Optimize content for search engines and manage paid search campaigns.

Event Coordination

  • Plan and execute community events, including logistics and promotion.
  • Represent the organization at outreach activities and foster partnerships.

Analytics & Strategy

  • Monitor social media and SEO performance, providing data-driven insights.
  • Develop strategies to boost engagement, visibility, and brand recognition.

Additional Duties:

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Primary Attributes

Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field, OR equivalent experience.

Skills and Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with the public.

Policy and Legal Knowledge: Thorough understanding of Prestera's policies and procedures as well as consumer protection, advertising standards, and intellectual property rights.

Technical Proficiency:

Experience managing social media platforms and SEO/SEM campaigns.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Continuing Education: Maintains current knowledge of marketing and development practices, typically acquired through continuing education.

Licenses & Certifications: SEO/SEM or Meta certifications (must obtain if not certified).

General Development: Stay current with industry trends, particularly in the integrated services field. Attend local business and marketing events in catchment areas.
