Operations Coordinator (IT & Operations) 

Employment Type: Contract (3 Months) or Full-time
Location: In-Person in Jackson Heights
Start Date: Immediate Preferred

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and hands-on IT Coordinator to oversee operational functions during a critical business transition and systems modernization project. This role requires someone who can manage day-to-day business operations while also leading technology and workflow improvements across the organization.

The ideal candidate has experience with finance and operations management, Google Workspace administration, Microsoft-to-Google migrations, and practical IT coordination — including GoDaddy domain management, domain purchasing, email distribution groups, and user administration.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinance & Business Operations
  • Manage budgeting, invoicing, expense tracking, and operational reporting
  • Coordinate vendor relationships, contracts, and subscriptions
  • Develop and improve operational processes and workflows
  • Support leadership with business analysis and project coordination
  • Track KPIs and provide operational updates to management
IT & Systems Administration
  • Lead or coordinate migration from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace
  • Administer Google Workspace users, permissions, and organizational settings
  • Manage GoDaddy accounts, domain purchases, renewals, DNS records, and website-related configurations
  • Create and manage email groups, distribution lists, aliases, and shared inboxes
  • Coordinate onboarding/offboarding processes and account setup
  • Liaise with external IT vendors, consultants, or MSPs as needed
  • Ensure systems organization, data continuity, and operational efficiency
Operations & Project Management
  • Oversee day-to-day operational activities across teams
  • Create SOPs, internal documentation, and workflow processes
  • Manage timelines, priorities, and implementation deliverables
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend solutions
  • Support organizational change management and communications
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in business operations, office management, or business management
  • Strong finance and operational coordination experience
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Google Workspace administration
    • Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace migrations
    • GoDaddy domain management and domain purchasing
    • Email distribution groups and shared mailbox administration
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
